Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO DE RESFRIAMENTO DE TIRAS DE AçO". A presente invenção permite que o coeficiente de resistência de um bocal seja diminuído e que um dispositivo de resfriamento seja reduzido em seu tamanho em um dispositivo de resfriamento que requeira uma taxa de resfriamento mais alta; em particular, a invenção é um dispositivo de resfriamento para uma tira de aço, o mencionado dispositivo de resfriamento sendo equipado com uma pluralidade de bocais salientando-se das superfícies de uma câmara de resfriamento de forma a manter a distância entre as pontas dos mencionados bocais e as superfícies da mencionada tira de aço na faixa de 30 a 100 mm e resfriando-se a mencionada tira de aço móvel ejetando-se um meio de resfriamento através dos mencionados bocais, caracterizado pelo fato de que D/d dos mencionados bocais satisfaz a expressão 1,5 <243> D/d <243> 3,0 onde d é o diâmetro interno na ponta de um bocal (do lado da tira de aço) e D é o diâmetro interno no pé de um bocal (do lado da câmara de resfriamento).
