"SISTEMA DE EXAUSTãO PARA UM MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA DE QUEIMA POBRE, MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA DE QUEIMA POBRE, E, PROCESSO PARA TRATAR O NO~ x~ EM UM GáS DE EXAUSTãO DE UM MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA DE QUEIMA POBRE" Um sistema de exaustão (10) para um motor de combustão interna de queima pobre compreende um absorvente de óxido de nitrogênio (NO~ x~) (28), um catalisador (30) para catalisar a redução catalítica seletiva (SCR) de NO~ x~ com um reagente específico de NO~ x~, o primeiro meio (18, 22) para introduzir um reagente específico de NO~ x~ ou um precursor do mesmo em um gás de exaustão a montante do catalisador de SCR (30) e o meio (24) para controlar a introdução do reagente específico de NO~ x~ ou o precursor do mesmo dentro do gás de exaustão via o primeiro meio de introdução (18,22), em que o catalisador de SCR (30) é posicionado a montante do absorvente de NO~ x~ (28) e opcionalmente com o absorvente de NO~ x~, em que o meio de controle (24) é posicionado para introduzir o reagente específico de NO~ x~ ou o precursor do mesmo para o gás de exaustão via o primeiro meio de introdução (18, 22) apenas quando o catalisador de SCR (30) está ativo, através do qual a exaustão de reagente específico de NO~ x~ para a atmosfera é substancialmente evitada.
