Abstract

"SELEçãO DE INTERFACE EM UMA REDE DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO". A presente invenção está dirigida a técnicas para a seleção de interfaces de rede sem fio para comunicação de dados dentro de um terminal de acesso. As técnicas podem se basear em um conjunto de regras para seleção de interface para identificar interfaces de rede que são elegíveis para servir a um aplicativo de comunicação específico ou o tipo de tráfego repassado em benefício de outro dispositivo. Além disso, a cada interface de rede pode ser designada uma prioridade. Ao identificar as interfaces elegíveis, por exemplo interfaces que atendem a todas as regras de seleção de interface, as técnicas podem envolver a seleção da interface elegível possuindo a prioridade mais elevada. A prioridade designada pode ser dinamicamente ajustada com base no estado de conexão das interfaces, priorizando de acordo com mudanças na latência do sistema, custo de interface e similares.
