Abstract

"CAMADA DE TRANSFERêNCIA DE FLUIDOS LíQUIDOS E UM ARTIGO ABSORVENTE INCORPORANDO A MESMA". A presente invenção refere-se a uma camada de transferência de fluidos líquidos e um artigo absorvente incorporando a mesma, como uma fralda, um guardanapo sanitário ou um produto similar, que tem uma cobertura permeável abaixo da qual está disposta uma camada de transferência não-tecida de fluidos líquidos seguida abaixo por um núcleo absorvente que retém os fluidos. Na camada de transferência é fornecida uma camada de topo de propriedades predominantemente hidrofóbicas e uma camada de fundo de propriedades predominantemente hidrofílicas. A camada de transferência tem uma configuração de superfície em relevo, com canais formados por estrias não-tecidas comprimidas formando picos transversais e vales se estendendo em direção longitudinal ao longo da camada de transferência. A espessura inferior da camada de transferência que resulta dos estiramentos comprimidos que formam os vales, fornece os canais com uma capacidade hidrofílica predominante, que facilita a transferência líquida rápida em direção ao núcleo absorvente, enquanto a maior espessura da camada de transferência nos picos fornece-a com uma hidrofobia predominante, que impede ao líquido de retornar do núcleo absorvente para a cobertura permeável, reduzindo desse modo o índice de umidade restante na zona de contato com a pele do usuário, mesmo se o núcleo absorvente for submetido à pressão.
