Abstract

"SISTEMAS DE FORTIFICAçãO COM MINERAL PARA ADICIONAR MINERAIS A LìQUIDOS POTáVEIS ENGARRAFADOS". Trata-se de um sistema de fortalecimento com mineral que tem uma tampa de garrafa, uma bolsa e um abridor de bolsa. Um pó é confinado na bolsa, e o pó contém pelo menos um mineral e um composto modulador de redox. Quando a tampa é presa na abertura de uma garrafa contendo um líquido e quando o abridor de bolsa é ativado, o pó é liberado da bolsa e misturado com o líquido para formar uma composição líquida fortalecida com mineral que é fortalecida com pelo menos um mineral e tem um pH entre cerca de 2,5 e 9,5. Além disso, a composição líquida fortalecida com mineral tem um potencial de redox que satisfaz a seguinte equação: 0^ 3^RP - (A - B*pH). Nessa equação, RP é o potencial de redox, em milivolts, da composição liquida contendo mineral, pH é o pH da composição líquida contendo mineral, A é 400 e B é 20. O mineral é de preferência selecionado entre cálcio, ferro, zinco, cobre, manganês, iodo, magnésio e misturas destes. Além disso, a composição líquida fortalecida com mineral deve ser de preferência substancialmente livre de sabor ou de compostos adoçantes. Com mais preferência ainda, a composição líquida não tem gosto nem retrogosto metálico, tem valor colorimétrico Hunter 'b' inferior a 5,0 e tem valor de turvação NTU inferior a 5,0. A composição líquida fortalecida com mineral pode conter opcionalmente outros nutrientes e vitaminas, por exemplo, vitamina A, vitamina C, vitamina E, niacina, tiamina, vitamina B6, vitamina B2, vitamina B 12, ácido fólico, selênio, ácido pantatónico e iodo.
