Abstract

A single product which offers two alternative beverages by giving the consumer the option of dissolving the attached sweetened flavouring/additive into the mineral water, or other consumable liquid, to create a different beverage, or alternatively, discarding the sweetened flavouring/additive to retain the mineral water, or original beverage, as a drink (see 'description', pg 1). The liquid may be in a glass/PET bottle or a plastic/cardboard carton. The additive may be in the form of a tablet, capsule, powder or liquid, and may be attached to the container in any suitable way.

Description

DESCRIPTION
Flavoured Mineral Water The idea relates to the addition of an individually wrapped sweetened flavouring or additive to mineral water? or any other consumable liquid, to offer the possibility of two beverages from a single product.
The mineral water, or other consumable liquid, is to be contained in any food grade liquid container, (e g. glass/PET bottle, plastic/cardboard carton) and sealed by any type of closure The 'individually wrapped sweetened flavouring or additive' is to be attached, at any point, in any way or form, to the container which can then be opened and added to the liquid within the container to provide a different beverage than was originally therein by shaking the container before consumption.
An object of this invention is that one product offers two alternative beverages. For example, should the consumer simply desire mineral water, or the original beverage, the sweetened flavour/additive remains unused However, if they desire a different flavour, they add the attached sweetened flavour/additive. Similarly, should two people wish to share the drink, one may desire the original beverage, the other may prefer the alternative, flavoured beverage.
Furthermore, it allows the consumer to choose the strength of the flavour Should the consumer prefer a weak flavour, they need to add only a little flavouring/additive Alternatively, should the consumer prefer a strong flavour, they would add more or all of the flavouring/additive.
