A presente invenção refere-se a um material de suporte laminado revestido, no qual o material de suporte é formado de um substrato inorgânico o qual é provido de pelo menos um revestimento, sendo que cada estágio contém pelo menos uma resina de melamina-formaldeído endurecida ou se constitui de uma desta natureza, bem como um processo para a preparação do material de suporte revestido e aplicação do mesmo como pigmento de efeito.
