Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE CARBONATO DE CáLCIO COM ALTO GRAU DE BRILHO POR ALVEJAMENTO REDUTOR". é divulgado carbonato de cálcio com alto grau de brilho, o qual é produzido tratando o carbonato de cálcio e/ou leite de cal usado para a produção do mesmo, pela reação desse dito leite de cal com dióxido de carbono, e/ou pelo menos de um dos produtos intermediários contendo cálcio usados para a produção de leite de cal, com um agente alvejante, antes, durante e/ou em seguida à dita reação. O dito agente alvejante contém pelo menos um composto com a fórmula A[(CR^ 1^R^ 2^)SO~ p~M~(1/q)~]~ r~ (I), na qual A representa NR^ R^4^, NR^ 3^, N ou OH; R^ 1^, R^ 2^, R^ 3^, E R^ 4^ independentemente representam hidrogênio ou um radical orgânico; M representa amónio ou um metal; p representa 2 ou 3; q representa a valência de M; e r representa 1 se A=OH ou NR^ 3^R^ 4^, 2 se A=NR^ 3^; e 3 se A=N. As ditas variáveis são selecionadas independentemente para cada composto individual e/ou cada grupo [(CR^ 1^R^ 2^)SO~ P~M~ (1/q)~ ] se uma mistura de compostos é usada e/ou se r = 2 ou 3.
