Abstract

"DìMEROS DE AVIDINA EFICAZES EM AUMENTAR A CONCENTRAçãO DE BIOTINA RADIOATIVA EM RADIOIMUNOTERAPIA PRé-DIRECIONADA". A presente invenção refere-se a dímeros de avidina e estreptavidinas (diavidinas) onde o ligante é suberato que, por sua vez, liga-se a diferentes grupos funcionais (-NH~ 2~ ou -COOH) de avidina. Em comparação com avidina, as diavidinas mostram a capacidade de aumentar a quantidade de biotina radiomarcada no alvo, quando utilizadas em um teste de pré-direcionamento in vitro usando tenascina humana suportada, o anticorpo monocional antitenascina biotinado (Mab-B), avidina/diavidina e biotina-^ 3^H. O uso de tais diavidinas é também descrito em diagnose de câncer e terapia anticâncer baseadas no procedimento de radioimunoterapia pré-direcionada em três etapas.
