Um meio de cobertura tipo cofferdam (10), em forma de folha, e/ou um meio de fixação em forma de tira de um cofferdam está fabricado de um material elástico flexível. Com o intuito de criar um meio de cobertura e/ou um meio de fixação, o qual apresenta características especialmente excelentes com respeito ao comportamento de dilaceramento e dilatação, é escolhido como material, um material termoplástico.
