Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO GERADOR DE GáS". A presente invenção se refere a um dispositivo gerador de gás utilizado em segurança automobilística para inflar um colchão (3) de proteção. Esse dispositivo se caracteriza pelo fato de que ele compreende pelo menos uma fonte de gás para inflar o colchão (3) de proteção e pelo menos um orifício, dito primeiro orifício, de saída de gás na direção do colchão (3) de proteção, caracterizado pelo fato de que ele compreende meios para levar os gases a atravessar outros orifícios de saída dos gases, ditos segundos orifícios, distribuídos no dispositivo de modo a torná-lo de impulso neutro quando ele é iniciado enquanto ele não está em serviço, o dispositivo compreendendo também meios de obturação desses segundos orifícios quando o dispositivo está em serviço, de modo que quando o dispositivo é iniciado, o gás passa pelo primeiro orifício de saída.
