Abstract
"MEDIçãO ADAPTATIVA DO TEMPO DE IDA E VOLTA EM PROTOCOLOS DE SOLTCITAçãO DE RETRANSMISSãO AUTOMáTICA (ARQ) E UTILIZAçãO DE UM TEMPORIZADOR DE CANCELAMENTO INICIADO NA RECEPçãO DE UMA CONFIRMAçãO DE RECEBIMENTO NEGATIVA (NAK)". Para comunicações de dados eficientes através de diversas camadas de protocolo em um sistema de comunicação ARQ (100), uma estação base (101) recebe pacotes de dados (509 ) de protocolo de link rádio (RLP) Um processador (401) monta os pacotes de dados RLP (509) recebidos. O processador (401) é configurado para determinar se um pacote de dados RLP (509) recebido é recebido fora de seq³ência em uma série de pacotes de dados RLP (509), iniciar um temporizador de cancelamento associado a uma confirmação de recebimento negativa (NAK) transmitida para medir o tempo decorrido do temporizador de cancelamento, determinar se o tempo decorrido do temporizador de cancelamento ultrapassa um limite dinâmico do período de tempo de cancelamento que é baseado em dados estatísticos de períodos de tempo medidos para retransmissões bem-sucedidas de pacotes de dados RLP (509) recebidos anteriormente.
