Abstract

"MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA E CARCAçA DE MOTOR". A presente invenção refere-se a um motor de combustão interna (1) que compreende uma carcaça (2) tendo pelo menos uma abertura (4) para o seu interior, a qual é preferencialmente a entrada de óleo do motor, e com um eixo de comando de válvulas (5) montado no interior da carcaça para rotação em torno de seu eixo geométrico. O eixo de comando de válvulas (5) e a carcaça (2) possuem meios cooperantes entre si e com um dispositivo para travamento de eixo girável (6) em relação à carcaça inserível através desta abertura. Em um exemplo de concretização da presente invenção, o dispositivo consiste em uma haste (6), os meios cooperantes na carcaça consistem em um orifício (7) receptor de uma extremidade da haste (6), e os meios cooperantes no eixo de comando de válvulas consistem em um entalhe (9) praticado na superfície do eixo, a qual coopera com a haste. Deste modo, quando da necessidade de realização de regulagem, reparo e/ou substituição de componentes do motor (1), a haste (6) é inserida, através da abertura (4), e travada neste orifício (7) da carcaça (2). Nesta posição, a haste funciona como um batente contra o referido entalhe (9) na superfície plana do eixo de comando de válvulas (5), impedindo-o de girar em torno de seu eixo geométrico. Quando esta operação termina, a referida haste (6) é retirada do interior da carcaça (2), através da abertura de abastecimento de óleo (4), e o eixo (5) é destravado. Adicionalmente, a presente invenção refere-se a uma carcaça de motor (2), particularmente para utilização em um motor (1) de combustão interna.
