Abstract

"VáLVULA DE TRANSFERêNCIA DE AR". A presente invenção se relaciona uma válvula de transferência de ar que automaticamente ventila ar acumulado a partir de uma tubulação ou tanque. A válvula (10) tem uma caixa (12) conectável a uma tubulação ou tanque. A caixa tem uma primeira saída (38) que ventila para atmosfera e uma câmara de controle (60) que é exposta à pressão interna da caixa através de uma entrada da câmara de controle. Um primeiro tampão de válvula (34) pode se mover para abrir e fechar a primeira saída. Este tampão de válvula é exposto à pressão da câmara de controle que tende a movê-lo para fechar a primeira saída e à pressão da caixa interna que tende a movê-lo para abrir a primeira saída. Quando a caixa estiver pressurizada, o primeiro tampão de válvula (34) é mantido na posição fechada devido a uma força de pressão não-balanceada, que atua sobre o mesmo, devida à exposição do tampão de válvula à atmosfera através da primeira saída. Também há uma saída de câmara de controle (36) da câmara de controle (60) para atmosfera. Esta saída é maior que a entrada da câmara de controle. A válvula também incorpora uma bóia (20) na caixa (12) que é arranjada para subir com o líquido que entra na caixa a partir da tubulação e um segundo tampão de válvula (24) na bóia que é arranjado para abrir e fechar a saída da câmara de controle (36) em resposta ao movimento da bóia provocado por variações no nível de líquido na caixa. O movimento descendente a bóia (20) em resposta a uma queda no nível de líquido na caixa (12) devido à acumulação de ar na caixa, faz o segundo tampão de válvula (24) abrir a saída da câmara de controle (36). Isto permite que a câmara de controle (60) ventile para atmosfera. A pressão na câmara de controle (60) cai em relação à pressão interna da caixa e cria uma força de pressão não-balanceada sobre o tampão da válvula (34) que faz o mesmo abrir a saída (38). A caixa então ventila para atmosfera através da saída (38).
