Abstract

"MéTODO, TRAçADOR E KIT PARA DETECTAR ANTICORPOS PARA M.PARATUBERCULOSIS". A presente invenção provê um ensaio para a detecção de anticorpos no soro para M. paratuberculosis. Um traçador, compreendendo um antígeno de carboidrato isolado de M. paratuberculosis, que é conjugado a um fluoróforo, é adicionado a uma amostra de soro de um animal para formar uma mistura. A polarização da fluorescência da mistura é então medida. A presença de anticorpos no soro para M. paratuberculosis é indicada por um valor de polarização da fluorescência da mistura que é maior do que o valor de polarização da fluorescência de um controle. A presente invenção ainda provê um traçador para uso em um ensaio de polarização da fluorescência para anticorpos específicos para M. paratuberculosis. O traçador compreende um antígeno de carboidratos isolado de M. paratuberculosis e conjugado a um fluoróforo, como que o traçador é capaz de se ligar aos anticorpos específicos para M. paratuberculosis para produzir uma mudança detectável na polarização da fluorescência.
