Abstract

"MéTODOS PARA CONTROLAR UM OU UMA PLURALIDADE DE VEìCULOS E SISTEMAS DE TRANSPORTE AUTOMATIZADO E DE MONITORAçãO DE PATINAGEM E DE DESGASTE DE RODA". Um sistema de transporte automatizado (10) inclui uma pluralidade de veículos (22) adaptados para viajar ao longo de um percurso, e um sistema de monitoração (70) localizado no interior de cada veículo e adaptado para monitorar uma localização e uma velocidade entre um veículo associado e o percurso. O sistema de transporte automatizado (10) também inclui um transmissor (72) localizado no interior de cada veículo (22) e adaptado para transmitir um sinal que inclui dados sobre a localização e a velocidade monitorada, e um receptor (76) localizado no interior de cada veículo e adaptado para receber o sinal proveniente de cada um dos outros veículos. O sistema de transporte automatizado (10) ainda inclui um controlador (78) localizado no interior de cada veículo e adaptado para interpretar o sinal recebido pelo receptor e controlar o veículo associado para assegurar correto espaçamento entre os veículos remanescentes pata evitar colisões entre eles e maximizar a produtividade dos veículos ao longo do percurso.
