Abstract
"PLACA DE MICROTITULAçãO CONDUTORA". A presente invenção refere-se a um recipiente com multicavidades, tal como uma placa de microtitulação, feito a partir de um material plástico formulado para aumentar a condutividade térmica. Em uma concretização preferida, o material plástico é uma formulação termicamente condutora de uma poliolefina cíclica, poliestireno sindiotático, policarbonato, ou polímero de cristal líquido, com um ponto de fusão maior do que 130<198>C e exibindo propriedades fluorescentes intrínsecas muito baixas. Um meio condutor, tal como negro-de-fumo condutor, é incluído na formulação do material plástico sob cerca de 5% ou maior, em peso, para aumentar a condutividade térmica. Para aumentar ainda mais a condutividade térmica, um enchimento de cerâmica termicamente condutora, tal como um enchimento de Nitreto de Boro, pode ser adicionado à formulação. Um tensoativo polimérico também pode ser adicionado à formulação para desempenho aumentado. A invenção também pode incluir uma peça plana de material condutor fixada ao fundo plano da placa para transmitir condutividade e nivelamento à peça. Alternativamente, a superfície de fundo plana da placa pode ser metalizada ou revestida com uma camada plana de material condutor. A placa pode incluir também uma tampa ou cobertura transparente, feita preferencialmente de policarbonatos, polipropilenos, ou olefinas cíclicas ou a partir de películas de multicamadas feitas de dois ou mais materiais transparentes com propriedades de barreira desejadas. Adicionalmente, uma qualidade de polímero fluorescente, tal como um epóxi preparado com um pigmento fluorescente, pode ser embutida em uma posição particular da placa para ajudar a indicar quando as luzes no equipamento de teste estão em operação.
