Abstract
"COMPóSITO CATALìTICO; MéTODO DE FABRICAçãO DE UM COMPóSITO CATALìTICO; E MéTODO DE DESPROTEGER CATALITICAMENTE UM COMPOSTO ORGáNICO QUE TEM UM GRUPO FUNCIONAL PROTEGIDO". Um aspecto da invenção refere-se a compósito catalítico que contém um catalisador de metal e um suporte carbónico especificamente definido, contendo um material carbonáceo. Por exemplo, o suporte carbónico pode possuir uma área de superfície de poro total de cerca de 800 m¬ 2¬/g ou mais e cerca de 2.000 m¬ 2¬/g ou menos, onde cerca de 20% ou menos da área de superfície de poro total constitui a área de superfície de micro poro. Alternativamente, o suporte carbónico pode ter um volume de poro total de pelo menos cerca de 0,75 cc/g, em que cerca de 15% ou menos do volume de poro total constitui o volume de micro poro. Ainda em outra modalidade da invenção, o suporte carbónico pode apresentar um teor de fósforo de cerca de 0,75% em peso ou menos.
