Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO E MéTODO DE VERIFICAçãO DE FLUXìMETRO". Um dispositivo e método de verificação de fluxímetro, para uso em verificar um fluxímetro, in situ, sob condições de operação, compreende um par de fluxímetros padrão (2, 3) de massa, baseados em efeito Coriolis, que são conectados, um ao outro, em série, mediante um conduto (7) conectando a saída (23) de fluído do primeiro fluxímetro (2) à entrada (32) de fluido do segundo fluxímetro (3). Um conduto (4) de suprimento de fluído, com válvula, é conectado à entrada (22) de fluido do primeiro fluxímetro (2), e um conduto (8) de retorno de fluído com válvula é conectado à saída (33) de fluxo do segundo fluxímetro (3). Esses condutos (4 e 8) de suprimento e retorno permitem que o dispositivo seja conectado a uma linha de fluxo de fluido contendo um fluxímetro o qual deve ser verificado de tal modo que o fluido fluindo na linha de fluxo fluirá em série através do fluxímetro a ser verificado e dos dois fluxímetros (2 e 3) do dispositivo de verificação. O dispositivo inclui meio de controle que é operativo para usar o segundo fluxímetro (3) como um medidor principal para checar a precisão do fluxímetro a ser verificado, e o primeiro fluxímetro (2) como um medidor de verificação para o medidor principal (3).
