Abstract
"COMPOSTOS DE MOLDAGEM à BASE DE POLIAMIDAS PARA PRODUçãO DE LENTES óTICAS". A presente invenção se refere a novos compostos de moldagem de poliamida termoplásticos e transparentes, baseados em copoliamidas, contendo diaminas e ácidos dicarboxílicos com núcleos aromáticos, ditos compostos apresentando um alto índice de refração, superior a 1,60, com uma baixa densidade, inferior a 1,3 g/cm^ 3^. Os ditos materiais também exibem uma baixa birrefringência e um alto grau de dureza e resistência ao riscamento. Tais compostos são produzidos em autoclaves de pressão convencionais, de acordo com um método modificado. Os compostos de moldagem da invenção são moldados usando processos termoplásticos e correlacionados com substâncias conhecidas, como PMMA ou PC, apresentando singulares e significativas características óticas, tais como, alto índice de refração, grau de dureza e alta estabilidade térmica em um produto. Além da favorável combinação de características, as peças moldadas produzidas a partir dos compostos de moldagem da invenção exibem a excelente resistência química inerente às poliamidas. é desejável que as lentes óticas apresentem uma birrefringência extremamente baixa para evitar a formação de anéis de cor ou distorção.
