Abstract

"MéTODO E EQUIPAMENTO PARA TRANSMITIR MENSAGENS EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO". Técnicas de redução de potência de transmissão necessária para a transmissão de mensagens de um terminal de acesso para reduzir a interferência na transmissão de outros terminais de acesso. Em um aspecto, as mensagens a serem transmitidas são definidas e/ou codificadas de forma que possam ser detectadas em qualidades de sinal recebido diferentes. As palavras-código podem ser definidas possuindo diferentes distâncias para suas palavras-código mais próximas. Em outro aspecto, as mensagens a serem transmitidas são designadas para pontos diferentes em uma constelação de sinal, com os pontos sendo localizados de forma que possam ser recebidos em qualidades de sinal diferentes. As palavras-código que podem ser recebidas com uma qualidade de sinal inferior podem ser designadas para mensagens mais prováveis de serem transmitidas com níveis de potência de transmissão mais altos (por exemplo, quando o terminal de acesso está localizado mais distante) ou para mensagens transmitidas com maior freq³ência.
