Abstract

Εις ένα σύστημα επικοινωνίας που αφορά τις μεταβολές εις την ποιότητα ενός διαύλου, χρησιμοποιείται έλεγχος ισχύος μεταδόσεως δια να μειώσει τις μεταβολές εις την ποιότητα λαμβανομένου σήματος. Αν η ποιότης του διαύλου μειωθεί εις τέτοιο σημείο ώστε να απαιτείται μεγάλη ισχύς μεταδόσεως δια να εξασφαλίσει καλή ποιότητα λαμβανομένου σήματος, η ισχύς μεταδόσεως μειώνεται και δεν αυξάνει μέχρι να επανέλθει η ποιότης του διαύλου επαρκώς, ώστε να καθίσταται δυνατόν να χρησιμοποιηθεί μια αποδεκτή ισχύς μεταδόσεως. Κατά τον χρόνο τον οποίον η ισχύς ευρίσκεται εις το μειωμένο επίπεδο, η μετάδοση του συνόλου δεδομένων δύναται να συνεχίζεται, ή δύναται να διακόπτεται, και το σύνολο των δεδομένων περιορίζεται αν δεν έχει μεταδοθεί το σύνολο των δεδομένων κατά το τέλος της χρονικής περιόδου που διατίθεται δια την μετάδοση του συνόλου των.
