Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A INSPEçãO DA SUPERFìCIE DE UM CILINDRO SIDERúRGICO E DISPOSITIVO PARA IMPLEMENTá-LO". Em um processo para a inspeção da superfície de um corpo cilíndrico e mais especialmente aquela de um cilindro siderúrgico, pelo menos uma zona da superfície é observada por meio de um dispositivo de inspeção tendo um eixo óptico orientado contra esta zona da superfície com uma visão para determinar o estado da superfície. Para esta finalidade, pelo menos uma imagem da zona fornecida pelo dispositivo de inspeção e capturada, pelo menos uma das imagens capturadas é analisada, a análise da imagem ou imagens capturadas é comparada com a análise de uma imagem de referência, as diferenças entre a análise da imagem ou imagens capturadas e a análise da imagem de referência são detectadas, e pelo menos a orientação do eixo óptico é ajustada de modo a pelo menos reduzir e preferivelmente eliminar as diferenças encontradas. O dispositivo pode incluir meios mecânicos e/ou ópticos para ajustar a orientação do eixo óptico.
