Abstract
"MéTODO PARA MONTAR PORçãO DE JUNTA UNIVERSAL". Um método de montar componentes de uma junta universal, tal como uma cruzeta e uma forquilha, posiciona e mantém os eixos geométricos de rotação da mesma em alinhamento co-axial durante o processo de montagem. A junta universal inclui uma forquilha que compreende uma porção de corpo e primeiro e segundo braços, em que o primeiro e o segundo braços têm aberturas respectivas formadas através dos mesmos. A junta universal também inclui uma cruzeta que compreende uma porção de corpo tendo uma pluralidade de munhões que se estendem para fora da mesma. Inicialmente, uma ferramenta de montagem tendo um recesso formado na mesma é apoiada na forquilha, de modo que o recesso seja precisamente posicionado em relação ao eixo geométrico central de rotação da forquilha. Então, a cruzeta é apoiada na ferramenta de montagem, de modo que um dos munhões seja recebido dentro do e sustentado pelo recesso formado na ferramenta de montagem. Como resultado, o eixo geométrico central de rotação da cruzeta é alinhado coaxialmente com o eixo geométrico central de rotação da forquilha. Por último, capas de mancal são instaladas dentro das aberturas e respectivamente em torno dos munhões da cruzeta para completar a montagem.
