Abstract

"SEGMENTAçãO DE LINHA DE IMPRESSãO". é provido um método de processamento de dados em um sistema de impressão compreendendo uma primeira pluralidade do dispositivos de impressão e uma segunda pluralidade de dispositivos relacionados à impressão, em que os dados são transmitidos por um barramento de linha de impressão comum. Os dispositivos de impressão e os dispositivos relacionados à impressão são conectados ao barramento de linha de impressão comum por meio de adaptadores de barramento de linha de impressão associados de modo a constituir um ambiente de estamparia. O método compreende a identificação de diversos dispositivos a partir da primeira pluralidade de dispositivos de impressão e da segunda pluralidade de dispositivos relacionados à impressão requeridos para a execução de um processamento de impressão solicitado, os ditos dispositivos identificados constituindo um segmento de linha de impressão da primeira e da segunda pluralidade de dispositivos; a atribuição de um identificador de segmento aos dispositivos identificados que constituem o dito segmento de linha de impressão; e a configuração dos adaptadores de barramento de linha de impressão daqueles dispositivos que foram atribuídos com o dito identificador de segmento no sentido de que cada dispositivo seja capaz de filtrar os dados que são destinados para o dito respectivo dispositivo a partir do barramento de linha de impressão comum.
