Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA TRATAR UM MATERIAL EXOTéRMICO". A invenção fornece aparelho e método para tratamento exotérmico de material de alimentação para fornecer uma cinza. O aparelho inclui uma carcaça que se estende ao redor de um eixo central e que tem primeira e segunda extremidades, e uma zona de mistura central adjacente à primeira extremidade. Uma entrada de material carrega o material de alimentação para o interior da carcaça e gás penetra através de uma primeira entrada de gás na primeira extremidade através de guias para criar um vórtice interno que se estende axialmente ao redor de dito eixo e o gás então segue um vórtice externo que também se estende axialmente, porém na direção oposta àquela do vórtice interno. Contudo, os vórtices interno e externo giram na mesma direção. Uma saída de gás é posicionada para receber gás servido a partir da carcaça e uma saída de cinza é posicionada de maneira remota da zona de mistura para receber a cinza. Se preferido, a posição da saída de cinza pode ser incorporada na saída de gás. é fornecido um sistema de controle para limitar a temperatura no material de alimentação na carcaça.
