Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO DE FREIO, FREIO A DISCO, FREIO A TAMBOR E MéTODO PARA A MANUFATURAçãO DE UM DISPOSITIVO DE FREIO". A presente invenção se refere a um dispositivo de freio compreendendo uma placa traseira (15) suportando uma guarnição de freio (14) que possui pelo menos uma superfície de contato (16) e bordas laterais (18) e bordas terminais (19, 20). Para evitar estrídulo de freio (barulho, rangido, guincho), o coeficiente de fricção da guarnição de freio (14) varia na direção longitudinal entre as duas bordas terminais (19, 20) de uma maneira tal que pelo menos uma das porções de borda terminal (19a, 20a) da guarnição de freio possui um coeficiente de fricção menor do que o da parte remanescente da guarnição de freio, e no qual a guarnição de freio (14) e a placa traseira (15) constituem uma peça única.
