Abstract

"MéTODO PARA A DETECçãO DE UM COMPLEXO DE PROTEìNA DE FASE AGUDA DE LIPOPROTEìNA E PREVISãO DE UM RISCO MAIOR DE FALêNCIA DO SISTEMA OU MORTALIDADE". Método para diagnóstico de uma condição de um paciente que envolve as etapas de: a) adição de um ou mais reagentes a uma amostra de teste de um paciente, as amostras de teste compreendendo pelo menos parte de uma amostra de sangue do paciente a fim de causar formação de um complexo compreendendo pelo menos uma proteína de fase aguda e pelo menos uma lipoproteína humana, enquanto não causando substancialmente nenhuma polimerização de fibrina; b) medição da formação do dito complexo com o tempo de modo a se obter um perfil de medição dependente do tempo; e c) determinação de uma inclinação e/ou mudança total no perfil de medição dependente do tempo de modo a diagnosticar uma condição do paciente. Uma formação maior do complexo está correlacionada com a maior probabilidade de morte do paciente.
