Abstract
"ANáLISE DE MATERIAL FOTOACúSTICO". Trata-se de um método e um aparelho para determinar a concentração de um componente de interesse em um meio através da espectroscopia fotoacústica ressonante (RPAS) com um trem de pulsos de luz que compreende pulsos curtos eq³idistantes que têm duração, freq³ência, número, e potência variáveis. O comprimento de onda da luz é selecionado de modo a ser absorvida pelo componente de interesse. Com a irradiação, as oscilações acústicas são geradas pela luz absorvida em uma camada relativamente fina do meio, caracterizada por um comprimento de difusão de calor. A repetição da freq³ência dos pulsos curtos de luz no trem de pulsos é escolhida da mesma forma que a freq³ência de oscilação acústica natural da camada fina do meio que pode ser considerada como uma membrana fina. Desse modo, a oscilação acústica torna-se ressonante. A medição da amplitude e da freq³ência das oscilações ressonantes determina a concentração do componente de interesse. O método e o aparelho são agentes de monitoramento apropriados de componentes do sangue, especialmente a glicose.
