Abstract

"MOLéCULA DE áCIDO NUCLéICO ISOLADA, VETOR DE EXPRESSãO, CéLULA RECOMBINANTE, PROTEìNA ISOLADA, ANTICORPO, COMPOSTO DE FóRMULA [GLUCOSE-GLUCOSE-MANOSE-áCIDO GLUCURÈNICO]N, PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE REFERIDO COMPOSTO E PROCESSO PARA A DETERMINAçãO DO EFEITO DE UMA SUBSTANCIA EM UM MEMBRO DO OPERON XFGUM". A presente invenção se refere ao isolamento e a caracterização de um operon a partir do organismo Xylella fastidiosa. O referido operon, é referido como operon XfGUM, que contém 9 genes, e está envolvido na produção de um composto com propriedades similares a da goma xantano. Os produtos de expressão do operon e os genes são também parte da presente invenção, assim como os diversos usos dos mesmos.
