Abstract
"SISTEMA CONECTOR DE ENCAIXE PARA ACOPLAMENTO DE LUZ DE UM ILUMINADOR A UMA FIBRA óPTICA". A presente invenção proporciona um conjunto conector compreendendo (1) primeiro adaptador que se conecta, liberavelmente, a uma fonte de luz e transmite energia ótica recebida da fonte de luz ao longo de um primeiro guia de onda ótico; (2) um segundo adaptador que se conecta, liberavelmente, ao primeiro adaptador para receber e transmitir energia ótica ao longo de um segundo guia de onda ótico; e (3) um guia de onda ótico de saída que recebe a energia ótica transmitida do segundo guia de onda e tem um conector direto adaptado para encaixar fixamente o segundo adaptador. Em uma concretização, o conector direto tem uma fenda que permite a inserção de um grampo e o segundo adaptador tem um detentor que encaixa, mecanicamente, o grampo quando ele é inserido na fenda no conector direto. Dessa maneira, o segundo adaptador é acoplado fixamente ao conector direto, mas também pode girar em relação ao conector de saída. Em uma implementação, a ranhura no adaptador é em ângulo, de modo que um grampo inserido faz compressão contra a superfície em ângulo, resultando em uma força para impelir e manter o segundo adaptador em posição adequada para conexão ótica entre o primeiro guia de onda ótico e o guia de onda ótico de saída.
