Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "APARELHO DE FUSãO PARA USO EM IMPRESSORA, ELEMENTO DE AQUECIMENTO INSTALáVEL EM APARELHO DE FUSãO, E MéTODO DE OPERAR UM APARELHO DE FUSãO". Um aparelho de fusão (10) para impressão xerográfica inclui um cilindro fundidor com duas lâmpadas paralelas (20, 22), ou elementos de aquecimento nele. Cada lâmpada define uma extremidade relativamente quente e uma extremidade relativamente fria quando é aplicada energia elétrica. As duas lâmpadas (20, 22) estão dispostas de forma que a extremidade quente de uma lâmpada é adjacente à extremidade fria da outra lâmpada. Na energização, a energia é aplicada à cada lâmpada em uma forma de degrau de escada, na qual aumentos incrementais na energia aplicada para cada lâmpada são escalonadas em tempo. Também durante a energização, as lâmpadas (20, 22) são conectadas em série, mas a conexão em série é removida para uma condição de funcionamento.
