Abstract

"PISTãO PARA MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA". Do tipo apresentando canaletes (10), circunferenciais e alojando, cada um, um respectivo anel de pistão (20), sendo que pelo menos um primeiro canalete (10), superior, apresenta um perfil tendo paredes laterais superior e inferior (11, 12) inclinadas radialmente para fora e em direção ao topo do pistão, por um ângulo de inclinação tal a compensar, pelo menos parcialmente, as deformações a que o pistão é submetido a partir de uma condição operacional crítica de maior carregamento, de modo a maximizar a distribuição de contato de assentamento entre pelo menos uma das faces laterais superior e inferior (21, 22) do anel de pistão (20) e uma adjacente parede lateral do canalete (10) e a minimizar o desgaste determinante da vida útil do canalete (10).
