Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO DE CULTURA, E, PROCESSO PARA CONTROLAR ESPUMAS POR DESESPUMAçãO COM UM DISPOSITIVO DE CULTURA". Um sensor detector de espuma (7) e uma corneta de oscilação ultra-sónica (13) são montadas sobre uma tubulação vertical entre o tanque de cultura (1) e um dispositivo (5) de separação de líquido-vapor. Quando as espumas que extravasam são submetidas a irradiação ultra-sónica, elas se rompem e perdem volume. As espumas rompidas têm alta densidade aparente, em comparação com as espumas antes da irradiação. Assim, o uso simultâneo dos dispositivos oscilador ultra-sónica (12, 13) e do dispositivo de separação de líquido-vapor (5), tal como o ciclone, conduz a uma eficiência de separação líquido-vapor intensificada, e produtividade mais elevada por fermentação.
