Abstract
"COMPARTILHAMENTO DE AMPLIFICADORES DE POTêNCIA EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO COM DIVERSIDADE DE TRANSMISSãO". A técnica de compartilhamento de amplificadores é implementada em um sistema projetado para acomodar a diversidade de transmissão. Em uma modalidade da invenção, os amplificadores (670 e 675) são compartilhados 1) para amplificar um primeiro e um segundo sinal codificado com diversidade, representando cada um deles as informações de um primeiro sinal que deve ser transmitido empregando-se diversidade de transmissão, e 2) para amplificar um segundo sinal a ser transmitido sem usar diversidade de transmissão. O primeiro e o segundo sinais codificados com diversidade são usados para formar um primeiro e um segundo sinal composto. Cada sinal composto é amplificado em um amplificador de potência diferente de dois amplificadores de potência (670 e 675). Cada sinal composto amplificado então é usado para formar um primeiro sinal codificado com diversidade amplificado e um segundo sinal codificado com diversidade amplificado. O primeiro e o segundo sinais compostos podem também ser formados usando-se um segundo sinal. Cada sinal composto é então amplificado em uma amplificador de potência diferente dos dois amplificadores de potência (670 e 675) e os dois sinais compostos amplificados são usados para formar um segundo sinal amplificado. Em uma outra modalidade da invenção, o primeiro e o segundo sinais compostos podem ser formados no domínio digital. Cada sinal composto é digitalmente distorcido, sendo então modulado em um sinal de freq³ência de transmissão, tal como um sinal de RF. Cada sinal composto pré-distorcido é então amplificado no amplificador respectivo (670 e 675).
