Abstract

"PROCESSO DE FUSãO DO VIDRO COM FORNALHA E COMBUSTãO OXIGêNIO-COMBUSTìVEL SOBRE A ZONA DE FUSãO E COMBUSTãO AR-COMBUSTìVEL SOBRE A ZONA DE REFINO". Estabelece um processo e fornalha para fundição de vidro em que a maior parte da energia de combustão sobre a zona de fundição da fornalha é fornecida pela combustão do oxigênio-combustível enquanto a maior parte da energia de combustão sobre a zona de refino da fornalha é fornecida através da combustão do ar-combustível. Em muitos casos, será preferível se fornecer mais do que 70% e até incluindo 100% da energia de combustão sobre a zona de fundição através de combustão de oxigênio-combustível e maior do que 70% e até e incluindo 100% da energia de combustão sobre a zona de refino através de combustão de ar-combustível. Através de refinamento adequado da atmosfera do espaço de combustão através da detonação de oxigênio-combustível e ar-combustível, a presente invenção pode resultar em um aperfeiçoamento na produtividade e qualidade do vidro. A presente invenção pode ser aplicada na construção de uma nova fornalha ou pode ser aplicada junto as fornalhas existentes de ar-combustível.
