Abstract

"AEROSSOL DE GOTA LìQUIDA DE GAMA-IFN E MéTODO". A invenção refere-se a uma composição de aerossol em gotículas líquidas para liberar-se em um trato respiratório do paciente. O aerossol é formado colocando-se uma solução de <sym>-IFN aquosa tendo componentes de dispersão e estabilização contra uma placa tendo aberturas de tamanho definido, e forçando a solução através das aberturas sob condições eficazes para formar gotículas aquosas tendo um diâmetro médio de volume em um ou mais de um de diversos tamanhos selecionados na faixa de tamanho de 1 a 10 mícrons. O aerossol tem as gotículas de tamanho desejado e uma atividade biológica de <sym>-IFN e distribuição de tamanho molecular substancialmente a mesma como aquela da solução de <sym>-IFN aquosa. Também descrito é um método de administrar em uma região selecionada de um trato respiratório do paciente, uma quantidade de <sym>-IFN humano tendo uma atividade biológica de gama-interferon selecionada, conhecida e distribuição de tamanho molecular.
