Abstract

"PIGMENTOS BRANCOS CATIONICAMENTE MODIFICADOS, DESCRIçãO E USO DOS MESMOS". Pigmentos brancos (W) cationicamente modificados em forma particulada, que consiste essencialmente de um pigmento branco (M) inorgânico particulado de um tamanho da partícula na faixa de 0,1 até 40 <109>m e um polímero (P~ A~) reticulado, catiónico, solúvel em água aplicado que contém grupos amónio quaternário em forma de sal, que podem ser obtidos por reação de epicloridrina ou de derivados de epicloridrina ou precursores com aminas, sob condições que levam pelo menos a reticulação parcial, opcionalmente em combinação com um agente de brilho óptico (B) aniónico e em que a razão molar de (B) para (P~ A~) é tal que o número de cargas catiónicas do polímero total (P~ A~) seja mais alto do que o número de cargas aniónicas do agente de brilho óptico (B) aniónico total, são surpreendentemente úteis em vários campos de técnica, especialmente em fabricação de papel.
