Abstract
"UM CODIFICADOR DE FALA PREDITIVO USANDO PADRõES DE SELEçãO DE ESQUEMA DE CODIFICAçãO PARA REDUZIR A SENSIBILIDADE A ERROS DE FRAMES. Um método e um equipamento para usar padrões de seleção de esquema de codificação em um codificador de fala preditivo para reduzir a sensibilidade às condições de erros de frames inclui um codificador de fala configurado para selecionar dentre vários modos de codificação preditiva. Após um número predefinido de frames de fala terem sido preditivamente codificados, o codificador de fala codifica um frame com um modo de codificação não preditiva ou um modo de codificação levemente preditiva. O número predefinido de frames pode ser determinado em avanço a partir do ponto de vista subjetivo de um ouvinte. O número predefinido de frames pode ser variado periodicamente. Uma taxa média de bits de codificação pode ser mantida para o codificador de fala assegurando-se que uma taxa média de bits de codificação seja mantida para cada padrão, ou grupo, sucessivos de frames de fala preditivamente codificados, incluindo pelo menos um frame de fala codificado não preditivamente ou codificado de forma levemente preditiva.
