Patente de Invenção: "CLONAGEM DE PORCOS USANDO CéLULAS OU NúCLEOS DOADORES A PARTIR DE CéLULAS DIFERENCIADAS E PRODUçãO DE PORCINO PLURIPOTENTE". é proporcionado um método aperfeiçoado de transferência nuclear envolvendo a transplantação de núcleos de células de porcos diferenciadas doadores em oócitos de porcas enucleados. As unidades de transferência nuclear resultantes são úteis para a multiplicação de genótipos e de genótipos transgênicos pela produção de fetos e proles. A produção de embriões, fetos e proles de porcos geneticamente engenheirados ou transgênicos é facilitada pelo presente método, visto que a fonte de células diferenciadas dos núcleos doadores pode ser geneticamente modificada e propagada de forma cional.
