Abstract
"APARELHO E MéTODO PARA INTERROGAR UM SENSOR PASSIVO". Aparelho para determinar a freq³ência ressonante de um sensor passivo, por exemplo, um dispositivo SAW, que compreende: meios (5, 7, 3) para transmitir sinais de uma pluralidade de freq³ências para o dito sensor passivo (2); meios (3, 7) para receber sinais do dito sensor passivo simultaneamente com a dita transmissão dos sinais; meios (7) para comparar os sinais recebidos com os sinais transmitidos para identificar uma mudança característica no relacionamento entre os sinais recebidos e os sinais transmitidos que ocorre quando o sensor está sendo acionado em sua freq³ência ressonante. Tipicamente, à medida que a freq³ência em que o sensor passivo é acionado passa através da freq³ência ressonante do sensor, a fase e/ou a amplitude do sinal gerado pelo sensor passivo mudará. Ao identificar esta mudança da fase e/ou da amplitude, o ponto em que a ressonância ocorre pode ser detectado. A freq³ência do sinal transmitido no momento quando a comparação indica que o sensor está sendo acionado em sua freq³ência de ressonância é a freq³ência ressonante do sensor.
