Abstract

"RETENTOR PARA SUPORTAR UMA SéRIE DE BROCAS EM UMA CAMARA DE DEPOSIçãO DE VAPOR, E, PROCESSO DE REVESTIMENTO POR DEPOSIçãO DE VAPOR DAS PONTAS DE UMA SéRIE DE BROCAS". Um retentor (2, 22, 82) para revestir broca com um revestimento cerâmico por meio de um processo de deposição de vapor tem uma parede externa perfurada (4, 24, 84) para o interior da qual as brocas são inseridas com suas pontas se salientando. O retentor tem um interior oco no qual o dispositivo de suporte localiza as brocas inseridas paralelas e com suas pontas se salientando até a mesma extensão. O dispositivo de suporte pode compreender uma parede interna perfurada de maneira correspondente (8, 26, 86) e uma parede traseira (10, 28, 88) contra a qual as brocas se encontram, as paredes internas e traseiras sendo paralelas uma à outra. Em uma configuração, o retentor tem um plano hexagonal que alterna paredes externas (4) perfuradas, e cada uma com paredes interna e traseira associadas (8, 10). O retentor é dotado de uma tampa (52) que protege o interior da entrada do material de revestimento, porém fornece uma passagem de ar para auxiliar a resfriar as porções das brocas no interior do retentor depois que o revestimento tenha sido aplicado.
