Abstract
"AJUSTANDO A POTêNCIA MáXIMA DE TRANSMISSãO PARA MANTER MARGEM CONSTANTE PARA, REJEIçãO DE POTêNCIA DE CANAL ADJACENTE". Um telefone sem fio possui um controlador de potência de saída (120) que provê um limite para a potência de transmissão máxima, suficiente para prover rejeição de potência de canal adjacente (ACPR - adjacent channel power rejection). Durante a operação com bateria, o limite não é fixo. Em lugar disto, ele depende da real potência transmitida (114) e (de preferência) da temperatura (418) e também da tensão da bateria (420). Sinais analógicos provenientes de detetores para cada um de tais parâmetros são multiplexados (406), digitalizados (408) e aplicados a um microprocessador (410). O microprocessador aplica algum algoritmo limitador adequado, mesmo que seja apenas uma tabela de consulta empiricamente derivada. O sinal resultante (430) limita o sinal de controle de potência (118) recebido a partir da estação base. Caso o controlador (120) detecte (422) que a energia está sendo suprida a partir de uma fonte externa em lugar de uma bateria, o sinal limitante (430) é fixado pelo microprocessador (410).
