Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "TRATAMENTO TéRMICO DE ARTIGOS DE LIGA DE ALUMìNIO CONFORMADOS". Um processo de produção de um artigo conformado adequado para uso como um painel de corpo automotivo destinado para acabamento por pintura e, se necessário, cozimento. O processo compreende a obtenção de um artigo chapa feito de uma liga de alumínio das séries 2000 ou 6000 em uma têmpera T4 ou T4P e que exiba um aumento na dureza após a pintura e opcionalmente cozimento, conformação do artigo chapa pela conformação para produzir um artigo conformado intermediário, e submetendo o artigo conformado intermediário a um tratamento de cravação térmica antes da pintura e opcionalmente do cozimento. O tratamento de cravação térmica envolve o aquecimento do artigo conformado intermediário da temperatura ambiente até uma temperatura em uma faixa de 150 a 300<198>C com ou sem manutenção àquela temperatura por um período de tempo para aumentar o crescimento da dureza.
