Abstract
"MéTODO E SISTEMA PARA COMUNICAR INFORMAçãO EM UM SISTEMA DE ACESSO MúLTIPLO POR DIVISãO EM CóDIGO". Introdução de transmissão em modo descontínuo em um enlace de uma conexão de comunicação CDMA é suportada pela consideração do controle de potência associado ao outro enlace. De acordo com um exemplo de modo de realização, o controle de potência é implementado aumentando a potência por uma margem de desvanecimento no outro enlace durante a porção ociosa criada pela transmissão em modo descontínuo no primeiro enlace. De acordo com um outro exemplo de modo de realização, ambos os enlaces entram em modo descontínuo substancialmente ao mesmo tempo, de maneira que seus períodos ociosos se sobreponham e controle de potência não seja necessário durante o tempo de transmissão ocioso.
