Abstract
"MISTURA POLIMéRICA POSSUINDO BAIXA DEFORMAçãO PERMANENTE POR COMPRESSãO" Existe uma necessidade quanto a composições poliméricas livres de halogênios para utilização em vedações e vedantes que ofereçam elevada resistência de tração e alta resistência ao rasgamento bem como boa resistência à deformação permanente por compressão. Vedantes para aplicações em carrocerias automotivas tais como janelas, capó, porta-malas e portas, e aplicações em edificações, tais como vedação para janelas envidraçadas e faixas resistentes às intempéries) devem ser dimensionalmente estáveis, proporcionar baixa deformação permanente por compressão, e oferecer excelentes características vedantes ao longo de uma ampla faixa de temperatura. Eles devem ser capazes de isolar o ruído, vento e água, proporcionando ao mesmo tempo uma resistência duradoura à luz ultravioleta. Esta invenção revela uma composição polimérica que compreende (1) um polímero de compatibilização selecionado a partir do grupo consistindo de (co) polímero de acetato de vinil etileno, e acrilato de alquil etileno, (2) uma poliolefina, (3) um sistema de cura, tal como um gerador de radica livre, (4) uma poliolefina elástica, tal como um polímero de monómero dieno-etileno-propileno e (5) um polímero elástico que é composto de unidades de repetição as quais são derivadas de (a) acrilato de butila, ou opcionalmente uma mistura de acrilato de butila e acrilato de 2-etilhexila contendo até cerca de 40 por cento de acrilato de 2-etilhexila, (b) pelo menos um membro selecionado a partir do grupo consistindo de metacrilato de metila, metacrilato de etila, acrilato de metila e acrilato de etila, (c) acrilonitrila, (d) estireno e (e) um agente de reticulação.
