Abstract

<B>VáLVULA DE DRENAGEM PARA SEPARADOR DE áGUA DE FILTRO DE COMBUSTìVEL<D> Vávula de drenagem para separador de água do filtro de combustível para uso em um motor de combustão interna que possui uma primeira porta que se encaixa em uma abertura de ventilação do separador, uma segunda porta que se encaixa na abertura de drenagem do separador e uma terceira porta. A válvula de drenagem é atuável entre uma posição fechada que bloqueia a comunicação da primeira porta com a terceira porta e que bloqueia a comunicação da segunda porta com a terceira porta e uma posição aberta que proporciona a comunicação da primeira porta com a terceira porta e que proporciona comunicação da segunda porta com a terceira porta. Se a válvula é atuada para a posição aberta quando o motor está desligado, a água captada e o ar de ventilação fluem através da terceira porta porém em direções opostas. Se a válvula é atuada enquanto o motor está funcionando, o combustível pressurizado pulveriza a partir da abertura de ventilação e a água captada da abertura de drenagem do separador fluem através da terceira porta na mesma direção.
