Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PRODUçãO DE AROMAS NATURAIS POR LACASE"<D>. Um método de produção de "nootkatone" pela oxidação catalizada da lacase do valenceno. O valenceno e uma composição tendo atividade de lacase são reagidas na presença de uma fonte de oxigênio, em uma concentração de valenceno maior do que 0,1%, para forma um hidroperóxido de valenceno. Opcionalmente, um mediador e/ou um solvente em uma concentração que mantém a atividade de lacase podem também ser incluídos. O hidroperóxido de valenceno é degradado para formar "nootkatone", e o "nootkatone" é então recuperado. O método produz "nootkatone" em rendimentos comercialmente viáveis.
