Abstract

"MéTODO DE PROCESSAMENTO DE MENSAGEM EM UMA REDE". Uma rede inclui uma pluralidade de unidades de controle eletrónico (ECU) conectadas uma a outra e recebendo mensagens via uma barra, cada mensagem tendo uma parte identificadora e uma parte de dados. Uma ECU processa mensagens convertendo o identificador de mensagem a um valor de erros de dados, comparando o valor de erros de dados a uma pluralidade de valores de índice armazenados em uma tabela de consulta, a tabela de consulta tendo valores de relevância correspondendo a cada valor de índice, descartando a mensagem se um correspondente valor de relevância indica que a mensagem não é relevante para a ECU, inserindo a mensagem em uma memória de carregamento se um correspondente valor de relevância indica que a mensagem é relevante para a ECU, e adicionalmente processando somente as selecionadas das mensagens na memória de carregamento. Preferivelmente, o valor de erros de dados tem menos bits de dados do que aqueles da parte identificadora das mensagens, e o número de valores de erros de dados únicos é o mesmo como um número de valores de índice. O número, N, de valores de índice para a tabela de consulta é determinado selecionando de uma pluralidade de valores potenciais para N, um particular valor N que minimiza um número de mensagens não relevantes recebidas pela ECU.
