Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>''PROCESSOS E INTERMEDIáRIOS''<D>. A presente invenção fornece novos processos para preparar o ácido 3(S)-[5-cloro-1H-indol-2-carbonil)amino]-2(R)-hidroxi-4-fenil-butírico. São também fornecidos novos intermediários usados nesses processos. Adicionalmente, o ácido 3(S)-[(5-cloro-1H-indol-2-carbonil)-amido]-2(R)- hidroxi-4-fenil-butírico preparado pelos novos processos pode ser adicionalmente feito reagir para se obterem indol 2-carboxamidas conhecidas e seus derivados, possuindo atividade inibitória de glicogênio fosforilase, os quais são úteis no tratamento de mamíferos, especialmente seres humanos, com doenças ou estados dependentes da glicogênio fosforilase.
